Like most DJ’s Ali started out playing music in his bedroom before progressing to friend’s birthday parties. His teens were surrounded by music and his passion for it grew organically. He spent the next 15 years DJing in the best clubs all over Australia and became a well-known and respected DJ. If there was a dancefloor, he knew how to fill it.
The next natural progression for Ali was to start his own business, and here was born Black Cherry Events. When I asked Ali and Tahlia about their business they said ‘We are a full-service events company! That means we don’t just DJ at weddings, we can supply a DJ, MC, Bongo, Sax and acoustic artists. Plus, we can manage their entire audio, lighting and special FX to make everything work seamlessly on the night!’
I have both worked with and attended weddings as a guest where Black Cherry Events were managing the entertainment, so I can confidently say they are AMAZING!
