THE FILM ROOM
The Film Room is a small wedding videography business in Adelaide run by wedding industry celebrities Jessie and Luke (Luke John Photography). Luke does a lot of the behind the scenes business work while Jessie is best referred to as the talent. Jessie is the one you will see on your wedding day and she’s the brains behind the editing of all the wedding videos.
The first thing you will notice about Jessie is her beautiful big smile and bright bubbly eyes, the second thing you will notice is her warm and friendly nature, like you’ve just bumped into an old friend. I mean, if that isn’t the kind of person you want around you on your wedding day then who is?
Jessie is regarded in the industry as an absolute professional. She has a beautiful way of blending in with the crowd whilst perfectly capturing all the candid moments you might not even notice.
When I asked Jessie what her style is, she said ‘My films are vibrant and happy enough to make you cry! Happiness and joy are romantic and that’s what I focus on when I shoot and edit. I shoot super candid, adore movement but rarely direct and try to make every shot extra interesting or beautiful by a little, simple camera movement.’

Jessie doesn’t take her role for granted. She loves what she does and feels truly honoured to be able make wedding films for a living. It’s for that reason she is so grateful to each couple she has the pleasure of working with.
